Wisconsin Badgers Football: 4-Star Recruit Brodie McWhorter Discusses Kenny Guiton Ahead of Important Visit – ‘He Loves the Way I Play the Game’

The Wisconsin Badgers first connected with four-star quarterback Brodie McWhorter in spring of 2024 and with his commitment announcement coming, UW supporters should know that they’re doing everything they could to keep him.

The efforts to keep McWhorter is led by quarterback coach Kenny Guiton.

McWhorter, a prospect for Class of 2026, is a standout from Cass High School in Cartersville, Georgia. The distance is not an issue for Guiton who the player glowingly discussed in an interview with Badgers 247.

 

“They just continue to show love. Coach Guiton, that’s my guy, we talk three or four times a week,” McWhorter said.

His next words should give Badgers fans good reason that maybe they will land him.

 

“He loves the way I play the game and that pro style offense. Getting on a Zoom with Coach Fick [Luke Fickell] and coach [Jeff] Grimes, to see how they run their offense will be big.”

Wisconsin Badgers’ competition for Brodie

McWhorter announced the final five programs he remains interested to play for on March 26 and among them was Wisconsin. His previous announcement had seven finalists.

The other four remain in chase for the composite quarterback are Auburn Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Colorado Buffaloes, and Indiana Hoosiers.

He will be a very busy kid this April as he is set to visit four of these programs, with Badgers being the last one.

 

He will make a trip to Colorado from April 6 to 9, followed by a visit to Indiana from April 11-12.

McWhorter will then conduct a three-day visit to Mississippi State before wrapping up his ‘tour’ in Wisconsin where he will stay for three days (April 25 to April 27).
