With the season fast approaching, Aaron Boone continues to make final roster adjustments, including giving a young Yankees player the golden opportunity to make his MLB debut.
Aaron Boone is determined to have the best players available for the Yankees’ 2025 Opening Day, and one of those players is a young talent finally set to make his debut with the Bombers and become a professional player.
According to information from the Yankees, Boone has reportedly confirmed that JC Escarra is part of the 26-man roster for the team’s first game of the season. This means Escarra will finally have the chance to play in the majors during the regular season.
Notably, Escarra has shown strong performance during spring training, tallying three home runs, six runs, 15 hits, and seven RBIs in just 48 plate appearances. This level of productivity is impressive for a 29-year-old player who has spent most of his career in the minor leagues.
