Jamal Musiala has turned down a new deal at Bayern Munich and has eyes on a summer move to the Premier League – with Liverpool and Man City likely to be among the clubs taking an interest.
The Premier League’s top two are thought to be leading the race for Musiala, according to the Daily Star, with both clubs having recently been to watch the German international play against Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayern had offered Musiala a new contract worth £150,000 a week, but it seems he’s told the Bundesliga giants he won’t be signing it – sparking rumours he’ll leave the club in July.
City found out about this decision last week and are feeling confident about winning the race for Musiala, who just turned 21. But Liverpool could have ideas of spoiling Pep Guardiola’s plans to sign the playmaker, who’s played for Germany 25 times.
