“Anything can happen” – Liverpool superstar refuses to concede Premier League title race to Arsenal and Manchester City

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold has called Manchester City a “well-oiled machine” and stated that making mistakes at this crucial juncture in the Premier League is tantamount to handing the title to Pep Guardiola’s men.The Reds are currently third on the PL table with 71 points. Leaders Arsenal have 74 points, having played a game more, while City have 73.
The Englishman stated that City, who are currently vying for their fourth consecutive PL title, show no signs of slowing down in the last few games of the season. He stated (via Sky Sports):

“Arsenal experienced it, we’ve experienced it two or three times, when you get into a title race with Man City they are borderline perfect. That’s what they do, they click and there’s no stopping them. Giving them this advantage with six games to go is almost like handing them the title.”
The Reds won the Premier League trophy for the first time with Jurgen Klopp at the helm of the club in 2020. While Klopp’s men have been serious contenders and have only allowed City to win the PL title by the slimmest of margins, Trent believes anything can go down in the last six games of the season. He added

“We’ve got six games left, it’ll fly by. Our aim is to win every game – that’s all we can and try to capitalise. It will be difficult but I’ve seen over the last few weeks that odds and percentage chances of who is going to win the league have fluctuated with just one result. Anything can happen in the Premier League.”
