BOMBSHELL: HOOSIER MAKING A STRONG IMPRESSION ON 2026 TIGHT END PJ MACHFARLANE: ” INDIANA IS UP THERE AT THE TOP”

 

The Indiana Hoosiers football program is making a strong impression on 2026 tight end prospect PJ MacFarlane. The talented young player, who has already garnered attention from several top college programs, recently spoke about his recruitment process and had high praise for the Hoosiers.

“Indiana is up there at the top,” MacFarlane said in a recent interview. “They’ve been recruiting me hard, and I love the way they use their tight ends in their offense. The coaches are great, and I feel like I’d be a good fit there.”

 

MacFarlane, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end from Massachusetts, is considered one of the top prospects at his position in the 2026 class. He has already received offers from several Power Five programs, including Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State.

“I love the way Coach Allen and his staff are building the program at Indiana,” MacFarlane said. “They’re all about toughness, discipline, and accountability, and I think that’s really attractive. Plus, the facilities and resources they have in place are top-notch.”

 

MacFarlane’s comments suggest that the Hoosiers are indeed a serious contender for his services. While it’s still early in the recruitment process, Indiana’s coaching staff has clearly done a great job of building a relationship with MacFarlane and showcasing the program’s strengths.

“Indiana’s offense is really appealing to me,” MacFarlane said. “They use their tight ends in a lot of different ways, and I think I’d be a great fit in their system.
