Nate Robinson Celebrates 41st Birthday with Message of Gratitude and Resilience

Today, May 31, 2025, former New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson celebrates his 41st birthday, marking a significant milestone in a life defined by perseverance and positivity.

Robinson, renowned for his electrifying performances on the court and as the NBA’s only three-time Slam Dunk Contest champion, has faced formidable challenges off the court. Diagnosed with kidney disease in 2006, he managed the condition for years. However, after contracting COVID-19 in 2020, his health deteriorated, leading to dialysis treatments. “I’m here to celebrate and thank the LORD for all he has done in my life. Thank you to all the people that sent prayers and texted my phone, giving me encouragement & love! You’re a fool if you don’t believe in GOD and the miracles he performs!! Amen.”

Reflecting on his journey, Robinson has shared his desire to inspire others facing similar health challenges. He once stated, “I want to stay alive for the next forty years, become a grandfather, and tell my grandchildren that I played in the NBA with LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. I have to fight for this. I have to witness for the people. My story does not end here.”

Robinson’s story continues to inspire, reminding us all of the power of faith, determination, and the human spirit.
