$76m signing, new Salah deal – Dream Liverpool line-up after Jürgen Klopp exit and two transfers

Liverpool are preparing for a big summer following Jurgen Klopp’s departure from the club and there are likely to be more signings behind the scenes at Anfield. Liverpool enter the 2024/25 season without long-serving manager Jurgen Klopp. The German has announced he will leave the club at the end of this season, less than a decade after being appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor.

Unlike most departing managers, Klopp will leave the Reds while the squad and the squad as a whole are on the rise.

Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League and also participate in the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League. For now, Klopp and his team will be looking to collect as many trophies as possible to mark his departure in style. There will be more changes to Liverpool’s squad before the start of next season as new faces take over and signings and new formations become available. With all the changes happening right now, there are a lot of options available for a great starting line.Klopp’s departure is a major change for Liverpool to negotiate, meaning the club want stability behind the scenes.

Mohamed Salah has been linked with a move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League side following genuine interest from Al Ittihad, who could return with a new offer this summer. If Liverpool are to become competitive again next season, offering Salah a firm extension could help fill a role at Anfield for whoever is the new manager. Potential successors will find it difficult to fill Klopp’s place in the dugout without Salah’s talisman.

Liverpool’s revenue priorities have become clear in recent months. The first thing that happens in the summer is that the defense has to be strengthened. Concerns in this area have been eased by the performances of Jarrell Quanza and Conor Bradley and injuries to Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool could make a bid for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz if Xabi Alonso takes over, according to Picajes. The forward is expected to receive around $76 million. This brings us to the last and most important change. That is, who will be in charge on the first day of the new campaign.

Former Liverpool midfielder Alonso is in the running for the role and Leverkusen are not stopping him from returning to Anfield if he wants (according to BBC Sport). If he arrives, Alonso could move away from Klopp’s 4-3-3 formation as he prefers a 3-4-2-1 formation.
