Greek standout Alexandros Samodurov has officially withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft, taking what many believe is the next major step toward potentially joining UNC for the upcoming season. Although there has not yet been an official commitment announcement, momentum surrounding the Tar Heels continues to grow stronger by the day.
At this point, Samodurov is widely viewed as North Carolina’s top remaining target. Unless Malone and his staff have another surprise move in the works, all signs suggest the coaching staff is heavily focused on bringing the talented international big man to Chapel Hill.
