While fans were hoping that Luka Doncic would possibly make his Los Angeles Lakers debut and return from injury on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, it appears as if they’re going to have wait a bit longer. And the Lakers might not have LeBron James as well due to injury.
The latest injury update for Luka Doncic isn’t all that surprising, considering Lakers head coach JJ Redick revealed that Monday against the Utah Jazz was the most likely scenario for him to make his debut.
Doncic has not played since Christmas Day when he was still with Dallas Mavericks, due to a calf injury he suffered against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The next bit of injury news for the Lakers is a bit surprising though as LeBron James was downgraded to doubtful due to left ankle soreness. James has been dealing with a foot injury throughout this season, and it caused him to miss three games back in December.
