NCAA Tournament Projections: ESPN updates Bracketology heading into Champ Week – Full details

The NCAA Tournament Projections have been updated by ESPN, and there are some significant changes as we head into Champ Week. The top four seeds remain unchanged, with Duke, Houston, Auburn, and Florida holding steady. However, the next tier of teams has seen some notable movement.

Auburn, despite losing two straight games, remains the No. 1 overall seed, thanks to their impressive regular season record of 27-4 overall and 15-3 in the SEC. The Tigers will look to solidify their position as the top seed in the SEC Tournament in Nashville. Duke, on the other hand, didn’t move from their position as the second of the No. 1 seeds, thanks to their strong finish to the regular season, winning eight straight games and 24 of their last 25.

Houston also held steady as the third of the No. 1 seeds, thanks to their impressive regular season record of 27-4 overall. The Cougars will look to cement their position as the top seed in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City. Florida rounds out the top four seeds, remaining the fourth of the No. 1 seeds, thanks to their strong finish to the regular season, winning 14 of their last 16 games.

The bubble teams are also starting to take shape, with several teams making a push for a spot in the tournament. Baylor, Utah State, Arkansas, and San Diego State are all projected to receive a bye in the tournament, while Oklahoma, Indiana, Xavier, and Ohio State are all projected to be among the last four teams in.

The Midwest Region saw some significant movement, with Saint Mary’s moving up to a No. 5 seed, Kansas moving up to a No. 6 seed, and Drake moving up to a No. 10 seed. The West Region, on the other hand, saw minimal movement, with Illinois moving up to a No. 6 seed and Gonzaga moving up to a No. 8 seed.

– No. 4 seed: Purdue
