Following the loss, Harden revealed his honest thoughts in the post-game press conference. “There’s no frustrations,” he said before adding, “I was frustrated for 5 minutes. There’s one more game, can’t let it dwell for too long”. The 36-year-old also addressed how, as a veteran, he has been sharing positivity in the locker room.

Harden said, “It’s the playoffs, great things happen. That’s why I tell the guys to never get too high or low. Focus on your job and go out there and win”. The 11-time NBA All-Star is currently playing his 17th season. He has appeared in the playoffs in every season of his career. Therefore, his composed mindset allows him to stay calm.

Harden has averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds throughout his postseason career. While he has yet to win an NBA Championship, his experience is enough to make him a leader for the Cavaliers. The former NBA MVP will have to play a key role in Game 7.
