Alexis McAllister has been ruled out of the game against Norwich as a precaution

Alexis McAllister has missed the FA Cup match against Norwich City as a precaution. Mac Allister has been in top form since returning from injury and was at his best in a Liverpool shirt against Bournemouth last weekend. However, Jurgen Klopp will be without the Argentine maestro for the FA Cup fourth round tie against the Canaries. Anfield Watch understands the decision was made to leave him out of the squad to avoid aggravating a minor injury problem.

As for the starting eleven, Alisson set up a goal for Caoimhin Kelleher in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday as Liverpool beat Fulham to reach the final. Connor Bradley and Jarrell Quansah will inject youth into the defence, forming a back four alongside Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez, while young midfielder James McConnell is set to make his full debut for Mac Allister.

Curtis Jones and Ryan Gravenberch join McConnell to form the third midfield. With Darwin Núñez, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo forming a dangerous attacking trio, Liverpool are not afraid to use their strength.Dominik Soboslay, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are expected to be on the bench after overcoming recent injury problems.
