Alisson and two midfielders not spotted in Liverpool training ahead of Toulouse Liverpool training

Ryan Gravenberch and Curtis Jones were both absent from Liverpool’s final training session before flying out to Toulouse on Wednesday.

The Reds return to Europa League action in France on Thursday, knowing a victory will guarantee their place in the knockout stages.

But a number of senior players were seemingly absent from their final preparations, with a travelling squad set to be confirmed on Wednesday afternoon.

Jones missed Liverpool’s draw away at Luton Town with a minor injury, and was again absent from training on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gravenberch also was not spotted ahead of the trip to France.

With Caoimhin Kelleher set to retain his starting place in goal in the Europa League group-stages, Alisson Becker also wasn’t spotted training out on the pitches despite initially being seen on Liverpool’s Youtube stream.

Conor Bradley, however, was visible in images released by the club. Jurgen Klopp recently confirmed the young defender is closing in on a return to fitness after a back injury.

Luis Diaz did train despite the ongoing uncertainty regarding his father after he was kidnapped in his native Colombia. Meanwhile, long-term injury absentees Thiago Alcantara, Andy Robertson, and Stefan Bajcetic remain sidelined.
