Texas QB Arch Manning Becomes Betting Favorite for No. 1 Pick in 2027 NFL Draft
Arch Manning’s betting odds currently stand at +225 to be selected first overall
Although Arch Manning’s first season as Texas’ starting quarterback was underwhelming statistically, he remains the betting favorite due to the elite physical traits NFL teams value in a franchise passer. His famous football lineage also adds to the hype: uncles Peyton Manning and Eli Manning were selected first overall in 1998 and 2004, while grandfather Archie Manning was the No. 2 pick in the 1971 NFL Draft.
The next-best odds to be selected first overall belong to Oregon quarterback Dante Moore at +380, followed by Notre Dame’s CJ Carr at +750, South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers at +1200, and Miami quarterback Darian Mensah at +1400.
The highest-ranked non-quarterback in the odds is Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith at +1600. He is followed by Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin at +1800, Oklahoma State quarterback Drew Mestemaker at +2000, South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart at +2200, and Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons at +2500.
