Donovan emphasized the importance of defensive consistency, citing the need for improved communication, rotational awareness, and individual accountability. He also highlighted the significance of rebounding, stressing that the Bulls must do a better job of securing defensive boards to limit opponents’ second-chance opportunities.

On the offensive side, Donovan expressed his desire to see more balanced scoring and better ball movement. He encouraged his players to be more aggressive in attacking the basket and to explore opportunities for easy baskets in transition.
