Klopp’s angry reaction to Amazon Prime presenter Marcus Buckland’s comments has gone viral. Klopp did not take kindly to the Amazon host’s joke.
After Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Sheffield United, Buckland joked that Red’s next game would be at his favorite kick-off time – 12.30pm on Saturday – but things quickly changed.
Klopp replied: “He’s brave. He is very brave. I have to make a joke.” “Constant, we’re going home now. I don’t know what time we’ll get there.
We’ll play again at one or two.”I have two sessions on Thursday and Friday so it’s good for me to recover and it’s good because we have the Crystal Palace game tonight.
“He continued: “I understand that even though I work in football, I don’t really understand, so why should I explain again?”
“If you’re joking about it, believe me. You are completely ignorant. But that’s a good thing. Obviously, football is entertainment and I understand that it’s all good.
After Buckland said he was not trying to be “rude”, Klopp immediately chimed in: “You’ve been there for a long time. “It’s okay. You can say what you want, but you can’t tell me what I want, because it’s going to be really different.”
“He’s a big kid, isn’t he,” Agbonlahor said.”If he wants to make a joke, that’s fine. Poor host Marcus Buckland is joking… throw a party, Jurgen. Make Jurgen happy, big boy.
“Aren’t those managers quite sensitive? Pep Guardiola has had trials with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards, Roy Hodgson and now Klopp!“You never know when these presenters will be able to joke with their managers. They are very sensitive!”
