Caitlin Clark Showed Her True Character With Postgame Comment On Angel Reese

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese got into it on Saturday.

The Indiana Fever opened their 2025 WNBA regular season with a game against the Chicago Sky. The Fever blew out the Sky, 93-58, to open the season with a win. Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, had a triple double – the third of her prestigious career.

Late in the game, Clark was hit with a flagrant foul for a foul on Reese. She fouled Reese hard after the Sky forward got away with a shove in the back of Clark’s teammate.Clark is getting praised for her postgame comment, with everyone saying that she’s right.

“She’s right…?’ one anf wrote.

“Anybody who’s played basketball at any level knows that. Don’t understand the Reese reaction when she also incidentally did an over the back two seconds before that too,” one fan added.

“My goat so wholesome,” one fan added.

“Absolutely right, angel is just salty cause she aint that good,” one fan added.Following the game, Clark spoke out in an interview with ESPN’s Holly Rowe, detailing what happened.

“It’s just a good take foul. Either Angel gets wide-open 2 points or we send them to the free throw line. Nothing malicious about it… Every basketball player knows that,” she said.”She’s not wrong. Not going to give her easy buckets. Got to earn on the free throw line,” another fan added.Clark was completely honest with her postgame comment, which is something she should be praised for.

We can’t wait for the next Clark vs. Reese matchup.
