Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in the exciting Betis player, who has a £26m release clause.

 

With some of the game’s best talent at their disposal, expect both Chelsea and Liverpool to at least be in the conversation.

We saw this exact scenario recently in the rush for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. They both chose blue instead of red. Of course, lavia has not yet resigned from Stamford Bridge, while Caicedo is settling in west London after completing a record move from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Both players could join Real Betis youngster Ahsan Diao if the 18-year-old’s move to the club appeals. Mucho Deporte also highlighted Liverpool’s interest in the wonderkid, who could be third time lucky for Jurgen Klopp.

The paper also points out that Betis sporting director Ramon Plains is aware of potential suitors for the player and knows there is a commercial opportunity if he can maximize Diao’s transfer fee.

And they actually sell it to the highest bidder. So far, there has been no official statement from the player himself or his representatives that Betis is the best place to continue his football education.
