According to L’Equipe (via the Mirror), he even spoke to Liverpool owner John Henry for two hours on his private jet about a potential move. Jurgen Klopp is rumored to be interested in bringing Mbappe to Liverpool, especially if the transfer fee is not paid. But PSG are still hoping to convince him to stay. PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi spoke about Kylian Mbappe’s future on the Rothen s’enflamme RMC podcast.
He said: “I’m not trying to hide anything. I want Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG. He is the best player in the world and the best club for him is PSG. “He is an important part of our project. I did more than others. We make mistakes and that’s normal. Now we have a young team of French players and we are not in a hurry and we are working for the long term. “We have a technically strong team. Our game system has changed and I’m happy to see this team. We play as a team, we defend as a team and it’s beautiful.”
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe is set to move to Liverpool. His contract with PSG expires this season and he has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid for nearly three years, but a move has yet to materialize. I am responding to rumors that Liverpool could still target Mbappe. The 25-year-old almost moved to Anfield before joining PSG in 2017.
