Dietmar Hamann predicts who’ll beat Man City and win the Premier League this season

Dietmar Hamann has named who he believes is going to win the Premier League title, with just two points currently separating Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

However, many are tipping Manchester City to come out on top again. They have been relentless under Pep Guardiola. And last season perhaps showed that the Cityzens can get across the line from any position.

However, speaking on That Peter Crouch Podcast, Dietmar Hamann has suggested that he is optimistic that his former club can give Jurgen Klopp the send-off he arguably deserves this season.

“I do think they’re going to win the league this year. They play City at home. They’ve got quite a good record at home against City. If they beat them, they’re ahead of them. I think they will. I think it gives them that extra boost because everybody wants him to go and send him off with the most possible success. And I wouldn’t be surprised if they win more than the Premier League this season,” he said.

Pressure of giving Jurgen Klopp a fitting farewell will be heavy

Once Manchester City get into their stride, it is a nightmare to try and stop them. And Arsenal should not be discounted either.

But with Klopp gearing up to step aside, there will be plenty of neutrals who hope that Hamann is proven correct.
