Liverpool star Dominic Szoboszlai has revealed his move to Anfield for Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland.
The pair were teammates at RB Salzburg, where Haaland progressed to the Champions League. Haaland, like Soboslay, joined RB Leipzig before moving to Manchester City.
The Hungary international joined Haaland in the Premier League following a £60m move to Liverpool. The pair, who are good friends off the pitch, now live on the same street in the North West and will meet for the first time on Saturday when Liverpool travel to the Etihad.
According to Soboslay, he announced the move to Haaland from Enfield before it was made official in July. “We were very close because we were both young,” he told the BBC.
“He’s a great player and a great person. Yes, he has a house, we have two houses between us, then I have my house.”When I came to sign, it wasn’t official yet.
I sent him a picture of my Liverpool shirt and he said, “Wait, what’s going on?!” I was like, “Okay, see you later,” and he said, “Congratulations. “The Premier League is crazy,” he said.
