After visiting Duke at the beginning of October, top 2027 prospect Asa Montgomery has cancelled his scheduled visits to Arizona and Louisville.
After landing one of the top international prospects in Luke Paul and Kon Knueppel’s younger brother Kager, the Duke Blue Devils could be nearing another big commitment. Earlier this month, Duke and head coach Jon Scheyer hosted Asa Montgomery, a top-15 prospect in the class of 2027, according to 247 Sports.
According to college basketball analyst Joe Tipton, Montgomery has cancelled his official visits to both Louisville and Arizona. Assuming that these two schools are out of the mix, it appears as though Montgomery is deciding between the five schools he has already visited, those being UNC, Duke, UConn, Georgia Tech and LSU.
However, predictions suggest that he’s most likely to end up with the Blue Devils. At the moment, four crystal ball predictions expect Montgomery to join Jon Scheyer’s squad.
