Liverpool star Harvey Elliott believes Tyler Morton has what it takes to take over a midfield role for the club.
The 21-year-old impressed during his loan spell at Hull City. Manager Jurgen Klopp may want to consider recalling Morton, at least in Elliott’s eyes.
Elliott said: “I’m glad he’s doing his job during his loan spell and speaking his mind as I know he should. “I hope we can share the stage more often in the future,” he said.
Elliott and Morton played for England Under-21s during the international break.
Liverpool have been linked with a new midfielder this winter.
