As Ferguson says, it’s difficult to think of any centre-forward who has such unique movement, while Nunez’s workrate is also second to none.

 

If he could just polish up his finishing, we’d be looking at one of the very best strikers on the planet right now.

Unfortunately, the reality is that Nunez is far from the finished article, but with that being said, he does have plenty of time on his side, and who knows? Perhaps next season under a new manager he could refine his game and become more deadly in front of goal.

The £70m man is certainly a one of a kind player, and he’s more than played his part in Liverpool’s ascension to the top of the Premier League this season.
