Liverpool have joined the race to sign Boca Juniors midfielder Ezequiel Fernandes, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper claimed that the Reds, AC Milan and Benfica are monitoring the 21-year-old. Fernandes’ Boca side are set to play in the Copa Libertadores final early next month, where they face Fluminense alongside Andre, another Liverpool target.
The Brazilian has been linked with Arsenal, so Fernandes could be an alternative should the Merseysiders offload the player. X fans debated the merits of buying the Argentine. A Liverpool player is already a Fernandes fan.
