Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s game against Liverpool, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admitted the Reds have some of the best players in the squad.
Liverpool and City have been a fixture in the calendar for many years. Both teams have pushed each other to the limit to win the Premier League, City come out on top.
Tomorrow is a huge opportunity for Liverpool to set a milestone and show that City are back on track. Speaking to the media today, City manager Guardiola admitted that the duo of Darwin Nunes and Mo Salah could cause problems for his team.
Guardiola said Salah and Nunes are big threats.Speaking to the media, Guardiola was full of praise for Klopp’s Liverpool and admitted that Salah and Nunes could be problems.
“He makes me a better manager through his teams: the transitions at the back, the space he creates, [Darwin] Nunez, [Mohamed] Salah.
“Without a doubt they have a fantastic team,” said Guardiola.Salah and Nunes have been in fine form for Liverpool this season. Núñez in particular will be looking to prove he is the right man for this tournament as he returns after performing well for Uruguay.
As we all know, Salah remains a constant threat. The winger is back to his best and has impressed every week for Liverpool.
For Guardiola, it’s a matter of trying to deal with Red’s threat as best he can. His team has a lot to offer and a lot to work towards to beat Liverpool.
It is now clear that there is mutual respect between Pep and Liverpool. But if you start tomorrow, it will be only one thing. Make sure you win.
