Liverpool, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Manchester City are aiming to win the Premier League this season.
The Reds, Gunners and Villa currently top the group, but it would be crazy to ignore Pep Guardiola’s side any time soon. Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta will no doubt be dreaming of bringing trophies to Anfield and the Emirates respectively, but it’s hard to call it a title race at this point.
It’s a tough race to predict, but Les Ferdinand had to step in and make his prediction during Amazon Prime Sport. Tottenham and Newcastle legend Ferdinand isn’t necessarily in the running but believes Liverpool will be the team to finish first. Nobody talks about them much. Everyone is talking about next year and building a team for it, but he keeps getting results, scoring goals and winning games. They are where they want to be, but now nobody is talking about it and I think they like it,” said Ferdinand. As Ferdinand said, nobody talks about Liverpool these days but they have been quietly brilliant this season.
Without Luis Diaz’s goal against Tottenham, Reds would remain unbeaten this season and get results in every game. The Reds are doing brilliantly and if they can maintain this momentum they could be top of the table at the end of the season.
Ferdinand tips Liverpool to win league:The expert gave his opinion on who will win. “The top three or four teams in the Championship at the moment. My favorite team now is Liverpool.
