Former Lakers Center Signs Another short-term Contract with Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are signing center Christian Koloko to a second 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. 

So far with Memphis, the 25-year-old Koloko has appeared in five games, including one start, averaging 2.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game.

Koloko began this season with the Los Angeles Lakers but was waived to make room for big man Drew Timme. In his brief stint with the Lakers, he played in two games without scoring. He had re-signed with the Lakers over the summer after appearing in 37 games during the 2024–25 season, averaging 2.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 9.2 minutes per game.

Now in his third NBA season, the 6-foot-11, 225-pound center originally played at Arizona.
