Liverpool are planning to sign Mo Salah at the end of this season.
That’s the opinion of former player and pundit Gabby Agbonlahor, who believes Salah, 31, is set to join Saudi Arabia’s successful professional league.
Despite being heavily linked with a move to the Middle East in the summer, Salah has failed to become one of the world’s highest-paid players after Liverpool remained adamant they would not sell him.
All that could change in the upcoming transfer window, but Agbonlahor admitted the January transfer window is too early for the 31-year-old, insisting a summer move is “inevitable”.
“I see Mo Salah 100% in Saudi Arabia,” he told Football Insider.“He will go out and be the highest paid player. That will happen and we can see it happen during the summer.”He has a year left on his contract and Liverpool know he will come and they will have an opportunity to replace him.” Villa Liverpool Salawa”I don’t think it’s about money for Liverpool.
For the price I’m asking, I’m getting everything I’m asking for. “It’s inevitable these days.”Even if Klopp doesn’t want to lose him, he can spend all his money to replace him with a younger player. “We don’t know if Salah’s leg will die in the next few years. It would probably be better to replace it in 2024,” he said.
Salah scored 196 goals in 319 games in all competitions during his six years at Anfield, leading Liverpool to seven major trophies, including the 2019 Champions League and the 2019/20 Premier League.
