GdS – Liverpool ‘crazy’ about signing £25.7million forward

 

If media reports are true, Liverpool are keen to sign Kenan Yildiz, a player who is in high demand in the market.

According to the latest edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news photo below), “Everyone from Liverpool to Dortmund are keen to sign the Turkish footballer from Juventus”.

Prominent Italian media have reported that BvB and Germany’s RB Leipzig are closely monitoring the 18-year-old forward.

On the other hand, Premier League side Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Yildiz, who has played three matches for the national team.

GdS claim Juventus recently extended the player’s contract, which expires in 2027, but are considering a release due to financial difficulties.Sources in Milan said the Old Lady could decide to save if they receive an offer of around £25.7m (€30m).

Yıldız has made his debut for the Bianconeri this season, but has only played 36 minutes so far.

He caught the attention of top clubs last month when he scored his first goal for Turkey against European powerhouses Germany.

Moreover, in the final match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, he scored a penalty kick, helping the team draw against Wales. The teenager can play in a few attacking positions, but is primarily a backup striker.
