Great boost for Liverpool as Steven Gerrard heir return from injury

As Liverpool prepare to face Bournemouth after the winter break, the focus will be on the return of key players and their struggles with injuries. Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai hopes to return against Bournemouth after recovering from injury. Although he has yet to complete full training, his optimism shines through as he considers the possibility of a comeback.

However, medical personnel must emphasize caution and patience to ensure a full recovery. Trent Alexander-Arnold will be sidelined for a while with a knee injury picked up in the FA Cup tie against Arsenal. Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders expects the midfielder to miss several weeks. Andrew Robertson’s return remains uncertain and Klopp has denied he could return this month.

A shoulder injury that required surgery in October left him unable to train fully. The following scan will determine the next steps in recovery. Kostas Tsimikas has had a broken bone since December. He could return to training later this month and possibly give Liverpool a boost in February.
