City could have gone through the international break in November, but luck was not on their side. Mateo Kovacic, Nathan Ake, Mateus Nunes and Ederson had to withdraw from the squad before the match started.

Guardiola may have suffered another blow as he watched Erling Haaland suffer an ankle injury from behind the bench during Norway’s win over the Faroe Islands. MEN Sport have revealed all the possible return dates for City’s injured stars.
