Lecce youngster Patrick Dorgu has “a lot to offer” and could play for Liverpool or Manchester City, but is dreaming of a move to Chelsea.
Premier League sides are still linked with him, according to his agent, who revealed all about the teenager in an interview with Sport Italia.
Dorgu, 19, has quietly impressed at Lecce since joining from Nordsjaelland U19s for €200,000 this summer.
It comes after a summer in which he was linked with several teams, with Liverpool first showing an interest in him and his agent even admitting he is waiting for an offer.
Manchester City came after that, and Manchester United and Barcelona were reported to be monitoring the player last month.
All three clubs are interested in him and could make a move in the future, but the defender’s agent admitted he would prefer a move to Chelsea over his client.
Agent Kingsley Ogbodo, who currently works for CAA Base Ltd, who represent the player, spoke about the situation and was specifically asked about Liverpool and Manchester City.
“It’s too early to talk about it today because it’s in a process of growth and learning.
What I do know is that it has a lot to give and a lot to give,” he said. “Not just the clubs you mentioned, but other clubs as well.
I don’t want to name the person and make a fuss about him. It’s useless. There is a lot of interest in Patrick and it doesn’t surprise me.
“Everyone can see his talent. We’ll see what kind of achievements he can achieve as he grows more confident in his abilities and completes his growth.
