Mohamed Salah is nominated for October’s Premier League Player of the Month award.
The nod marks back-to-back nominations for the Liverpool number 11, who also made the shortlist in September. Salah made the six-man list after scoring five times in just three Premier League matches.
The 31-year-old netted braces in both Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Brighton and the 2-0 win over Everton, as well as getting the third in the recent 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
After ten Premier League gameweeks, only Erling Haaland has more goals than Salah’s eight, while the Egyptian has also created the most big chances in the Premier League this season – nine. Alongside Salah, the following players have also been nominated for the prize:
Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa)
Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford)
Pedro Neto (Wolves)
Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Cristian Romero (Tottenham)
