‘I’d get footage’ – Jarell Quansah reveals ’24/7 learning’ at Liverpool

 

 Jarell Quansah revealed the depth of his search for Liverpool’s centre-back during the match.

The 20-year-old has made great strides this season. He made nine senior appearances for the Reds after making his debut as a substitute at Newcastle United in August.

Quansah, who currently plays for the England U21 team, explained how he used all the resources available to him to continue his development.

“Using high camera footage instead of TV footage, we could see everything. “How the backline moves and everything becomes less,” he said.

“You just have to ask the right people. The way I learn is by watching the players. These players have played 400-500 matches at the highest level.“It would have been foolish of me not to have seen them.

It’s like having resources and then throwing them away. If I did, I couldn’t live with myself.

“Virgil [van Dijk] makes everything very easy. It is not like that? The same is true when you are around that person. It’s basically 24/7 learning.
