Klopp explains Mohamed Salah’s change in playing styleThe Reds manager spoke to reporters and was quoted by BBC Sport as saying:”Young mo was a very quick player. He had to do something different from the start and he adapted very well. But the playmaker in that role was probably Bobby (Firmino) who took care of everything. You don’t need two deep players because you need a player in the box and a player who can cross the ball.

Things are a little different now. Especially when Darwin [Nunas] plays. Here’s another speedster who changed Mo’s position. He is smart enough to adapt to these different things. “There’s been tremendous progress since he arrived, but he’s been world class throughout.”With both Mane and Firmino gone, the 31-year-old was expected to take on a central creative role as a senior player to assist new signing Darwin Nunes.
