The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League but are just a point better off than Pep Guardiola’s Man City side in second place. Liverpool look set to continue their journey in the Europa League after an emphatic 5-1 away in their first leg against Sparta Prague, keeping the club in contention for a possible quadruple. There was even more good news to come from the clash in Czechia as several players moved closer to full fitness.

Liverpool were given a new fitness concern on Thursday night as centre-back Ibrahima Konate pulled up with a suspected hamstring problem and will undergo tests ahead of Sunday’s game.
