Liverpool moved five points clear of the top of the league, and 20 ahead of their opponents on Wednesday night, thanks to a convincing 4-1 victory at Anfield.

Sky Sports pundit Neville quizzed after a goalless draw between the two sides last April whether Chelsea were closer to winning a Premier League title, than Liverpool or Manchester United.

 

The day after the 0-0 draw last year where Chelsea had the best of the opportunities at Stamford Bridge, Neville tweeted: ‘Are Chelsea closer to a PL title than Manchester United or Liverpool next season.

It’s clear from last night’s game that Chelsea are further away from a title than Liverpool at this moment in time.
