Jamie Carragher uses Mohamed Salah example to show why Jurgen Klopp should not always be in charge of Liverpool transfers

Salah, who signed for Roma in 2017, has become one of Liverpool’s best players of the modern era. Carragher said Klopp was keen to sign Borussia Dortmund star Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen at the time.

Since then, Salah has played 332 games for Liverpool, scoring 204 goals and becoming one of the best players of the Premier League era.
Carragher said the club’s decision to select Salah shows why managers don’t always have the final say on transfers.
