The Utah Jazz are gearing up for a road trip against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they’ll be without some key players, including Keyonte George, who’s still recovering from a left foot contusion.
George has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves, marking his fourth consecutive absence due to the injury.
The Jazz will also be without John Collins, who’s expected to miss at least two weeks with a left ankle sprain.³ Collins has been having a career year and has arguably been Utah’s best player. In his absence, the Jazz have relied on Kyle Filipowski to step up, and he’s delivered.
Other players on the Jazz injury report include Jaden Springer, who’s questionable with low back soreness, and Jordan Clarkson, who’s out with left plantar fasciitis and an illness.
On the other hand, the Timberwolves have a clean injury report, with no players listed as injured or doubtful.⁴ This health boost is a major part of their recent stretch of improved play, including a seven-game winning streak.
The Jazz and Timberwolves will tip off at 7:00 pm ET on Sunday, with the Wolves looking to take care of business against the rebuilding Jazz team.
