Liverpool know they can finish top of the Premier League at the weekend but will need to leave Selhurst Park on Saturday with three points.
The Reds travel to Crystal Palace this weekend to prove they have moved up to second in the league with wins over Fulham and Sheffield United.
Liverpool are behind Arsenal in the table but the Gunners face a tough trip to third-placed Aston Villa on Saturday night after losing 1-0 to Manchester City at Villa Park on Wednesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are therefore under pressure to capitalize on the points they conceded to either Arsenal or Villa this weekend, and the Liverpool manager’s impressive record against Crystal Palace bodes well for the Reds.
In fact, Klopp has won more Premier League games against Crystal Palace than any other team, having beaten the Eagles 12 times in England’s top flight.It is the same record as Liverpool’s Premier League record against West Ham this season, which they won 3-1.
Klopp has also beaten Arsenal 12 times, some of them in cup competitions and 12 of them against Nürnberg in Germany.
The two teams Klopp has won the most in his career are Leicester City (13) and Freiburg (13), with Liverpool beating his former side 3-1 in the Carabao Cup earlier this season. Klopp has won 12 of his 16 games against Palace, drawing two and losing two.
The Reds had won 10 games in a row against the London club before being held to a draw by the Eagles last season. Klopp hasn’t lost against Palace since former Red Christian Benteke scored a brace in 2016/17.
If all goes to plan, Klopp will take his Premier League winning streak to 13 when they face Palace next Saturday.
