Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has joked that Trent Alexander-Arnold can walk after he was spotted on a fashion venture in Milan last weekend despite being out injured.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp produced a hilarious response to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s fashion venture over the weekend.
Alexander-Arnold, who is currently out injured with a knee issue, jetted out to Milan last weekend. And the full-back was snapped attending the Prada Fall/Winter 2024 Show as well as Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show.
The full-back’s travels didn’t escape the notice of Klopp, and he was asked about his thoughts ahead of their game against Bournemouth. The German quipped: “Obviously he can walk… on the cat walk!”
He added: “Trent is close, Dom close, Robbo close. All going in the right direction but not for the weekend’s game.” The 25-year-old was ruled out for three weeks earlier this month when he was injured in their FA Cup clash against Arsenal.

“Trent hyperextended his knee, so he has a little tear in the lateral ligament of his knee,” said Pep Lijnders. “He had a scan. He will be out for probably three weeks. It’s a big blow. We will really miss him.”

“We will have to find new dynamics without him because he made our game flexible. Even in bad spells, he was the one putting the balls where we needed the difference.
“He will get some rest and then hopefully he can come back to where he was. Because this guy was decisive in all the games and was the one who created constantly for us from deep.”
The Reds are currently top of the pile – two points clear of defending champions Manchester City. With Pep Guardiola’s side out of action this weekend, Liverpool could go five points clear at the summit.
