Jurgen Klopp has given an update on the injuries to Kostas Tsimikas and Luis Diaz following Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The Red duo have been relegated from the Premier League. Tsimikas was left on the bench after a collision with Bukayo Saka, the impact of which brought Klopp down.
The left back ran off with a broken spine. And Diaz was taken out in the second half with a knee injury. Klopp was unsure of the extent of the winger’s problem.
Liverpool manager Klopp told Sky Sports: “The shadow was Kostas Tsimikas. My collarbone is definitely broken. “I think we’ll have to look at the rest,” he said.”Of course it affected me,” Klopp said of facing Tsimikas.
I wasn’t sick, but Costas thought I was fine. I would like to donate to help my spine become healthy again. It’s not cool when something like that happens right in front of you and you get involved. I didn’t know what happened or what attracted me. Does not look good.”
