Neto has had quite the campaign for the West Midlands club as he has put in a number of impressive performances on the right flank of the attack. The Portuguese talent has scored three goals and provided 10 assists in 18 appearances in all competitions for Wolves this season.

The 23-year-old has been a reliable performer in the last three Premier League games, averaging 2.0 shots, 2.3 assists and 1.9 dribbles per game. He is even good at distributing the ball in the opposition half, completing 83.5% of his pass attempts in the top flight of English football (WhoScoring Stats).

Neto has a contract with Molineux until the summer of 2027. So if Liverpool are serious about signing the Portuguese at the end of this season, they will need to make a big move.

Liverpool face stiff competition for Neto. Is it worth fighting for? Neto has the speed to cause a lot of problems for his marker in wide areas. He has the ability to create decent chances for his teammates in the final third and can fire a venomous ball from long range.

The Portuguese international is primarily a right winger, but can also play as a left winger or as a No.10 when needed. We can expect Neto to bring more pace and goals to Liverpool’s front line.

He has what it takes to be the perfect successor to Mohamed Salah as he enters the final stages of his career at the Merseyside club. At 23, Neto has his prime ahead of him, so it’s worth giving Liverpool a chance if they decide to move for him at the end of this season.

He is good enough to secure a regular starting place at Anfield and could help the Merseyside giants win a number of major honors over the next decade.
