Liverpool have teenage winger who can’t stop scoring as comeback completed

Kieran Morrison scored twice as Liverpool came from behind to earn Under-18 Premier League North victory at Sunderland on Saturday.

Morrison, a 17-year-old winger, took his tally to 11 in 19 league games this season by bagging a second-half brace as Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side secured a narrow 2-1 triumph at the Academy of Light.

The victory against the bottom-placed side keeps alive hopes of the young Reds finishing in the top three in the division, although most of the teams around them have games in hand.
