Liverpool has highlighted the following players who are on injuries and suspension.
Thiago Alcantara
Thiago has been ruled out for the final week of the 2022/23 season after undergoing hip surgery. Jurgen Klopp confirmed on 25 October that he is not yet available for selection.
Stepan Bajcetic
Bajcetic is recovering from a calf problem after returning from a long-term injury layoff and remains on the sidelines, Klopp announced on October 25.
Connor Bradley
The defender is making progress in his recovery from injury.
Klopp said on October 6: “Conor is back and playing, but at this age and with injuries like that, you have to give them more than three weeks because it’s about the growth process, the body and things like that.
I couldn’t reverse that injury. Let’s leave it at that! So I think it will take some time.”good dockThe 17-year-old picked up a hamstring injury while representing Scotland Under-21s during the international break in October.
Klopp, October 20: “We will have to look at the Scotsman Ben Doak as he has some muscle but he will not be available at the weekend.
“Cody Gakpo
Gakpo returned to full training with the Reds at the end of September after picking up an injury against Tottenham Hotspur.
Klopp, October 25: “Cody had a full training session on Sunday, which means he’s ready for selection. We’ll have to see how we do that, but that’s a good thing.
“Andy Robertson
The left-back has been sidelined since undergoing surgery on a shoulder suffered while playing for Scotland in October. “Robo had the operation and everything went well and he’ll be back when he wakes up, I think it was this morning,” Klopp said on October 25. That’s great. “I don’t know how long it will take, but it’s good to have taken the first step.
Suspension
Curtis Jones
The midfielder has served two matches of a three-match Premier League ban after picking up a red card at Tottenham. He will miss the home game against Nottingham Forest on October 29.
