Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is happy with his new management team.
Klopp said Jordan Henderson and James Milner had been properly replaced following their departures in the summer.
“All men are different.” The Reds manager said: “We’ve lost two captains of this team over the years, Jordan Henderson and James Milner. I really hoped we would get through this, but I wasn’t sure.
I am especially happy that Virgil (van Dijk) is growing up.“Virgil has enjoyed being part of our management team over the past few years, but is now enjoying his new role. Trent (Alexander-Arnold) is the natural leader, followed by Robbo (Andrew Robertson), Mo (Salah) and Ali (Alisson).
He’s not the type to talk all week, but when he says something, it matters and everyone listens. “A good leader is only good in the group he belongs to. This is all.
The boys are looking forward to it. Beginners are confident, but not overconfident. They want to influence everyone and fit into the club. I am very happy about it. “They’re all different, but it’s good to have them,” he said.
Klopp admitted he is pleased the players are working together.”It’s always been that way here.” He said. “When the situation is really critical, I am the last door.
People are ordinary. Especially when Millie and Hendo were here, a lot of things weren’t delivered to my office because they had already prepared them. Now it’s the same again.
Pep Linders (Liverpool head coach) is on a level. Everything is well organized, so I’ll put it this way. “I have big decisions to make, but the rest is really up to the guys and the culture we’ve created in the team.
A lot of things aren’t big enough to really worry about, but they need to be addressed.” Because that’s what’s important to men at that moment. “They did and they still do.”
