Liverpool have been chasing the signature of Bayern Munich forward Jamal Musiala in recent weeks.
The 20-year-old is highly rated by the German club and Bayern Munich will look to extend his contract in the coming months. The forward is still under contract with the German club until the summer of 2026 and is likely to pay a fee. Jacobs believes Liverpool would be willing to pay for the player, while other elite clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester City could also be interested in Musiala.”I think it would be difficult for Liverpool to sign Musiala. He is a phenomenal talent and by all accounts Bayern would still like to renew him at some point. I understand his current contract runs until 2026.
So there’s no rush, But when you look at talent and value, it’s a very tough deal for Liverpool or any other club. Of course, there are plenty of elite clubs chasing the situation with top players and high ceilings. Chelsea and Manchester City are two other teams in the Premier League, but there is no doubt how incredibly talented he is in football.
“The same goes for Bayern Munich, so I don’t think they will let him go without a fight.”The 20-year-old established himself as a key player for the German club, scoring 16 goals in all competitions last season. He also had 16 assists on the road. Liverpool could pay a near club record fee to lure the German giants. Bayern Munich do not want to part with him and we will have to wait and see how the situation develops. Liverpool say it will be “difficult” to sign the Bundesliga’s 16-goal target.
