Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.
There have been rumours that the Colombian international could be sold in the summer and a report via Fichajes claims that Liverpool have now set an asking price for the 27-year-old winger.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form for Liverpool this season, scoring 10 goals and picking up five assists across competitions. He has a contract with the Premier League club until the summer of 2027 and Liverpool will only sanction his departure for an offer of around €140 million.
It will be interesting to see if any club is willing to pay that kind of money for the Colombian in the coming months.
Diaz is an indispensable asset for Liverpool right now, and he is the only natural winger at the club apart from Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has been linked with an exit from Liverpool as well and the Reds will not want to lose multiple key players in one window, especially when they are losing Jurgen Klopp.
If Liverpool do not reduce their asking price, it is quite unlikely that Diaz will be able to seal an exit from the club in the summer. It is fair to assume that the player might not push for an exit either. He seems well settled at the club and Liverpool are currently competing for major trophies as well. The 27-year-old has no reason to leave an ambitious club with an exciting project.
