Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah said he “shares the pain” of families crying at Christmas amid the war between Israel and Hamas. The Egypt international posted the following message on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Christmas is a time for families to come together and celebrate.“The brutal wars in the Middle East, particularly the death and destruction in Gaza, have left us with a heartbreaking Christmas this year and we share the pain of the families who have lost loved ones. “Please don’t forget them and don’t get used to their suffering. Merry Christmas.”Egypt began an ambitious plan to end the war.
